The 56,000-dwt Anna Bo (built 2010) and Flag Mersindi (built 2012) are said to have been sold to an undisclosed buyer for $15m enbloc, indicating a firm price.
The ships had been in the Golden Union fleet since new but the contract with the yard was not reported. They are likely to have cost at least $30m each. Company managers were not available to comment on the sales.
