Advantage Tankers and the owner of a Geden Holdings-chartered tanker are fighting over $3.2m deposited at a US federal court in Philadelphia as the ship remains stuck in Venezuela after more than two years.
In the latest court wrangling in the multi-nation battle, Switzerland-based Advantage has denied claims by Psara Energy, the registered owner of the 104,000-dwt CV Stealth (built 2005), that Advantage is an alter ego of Geden and should be on the hook for $3.57m
