Oslo-listed SeaBird Exploration says it will acquire seismic data in a long-offset survey off Belize, starting in the middle of this month.

One of SeaBird’s units in its six-strong, two-dimensional (2D) fleet will carry out the work, which is set to last for three to four weeks.

The Belize survey will employ the 76-metre, 2D seismic vessel Northern Explorer (built 1987), which has been working on the Gigante field in Mexico.
