Oslo-listed seismic vessel owner Polarcus and seismic charterer TGS-Nopec have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the joint development of future multi-client (MC) projects.
The collaboration also calls for TGS to extend its vessel agreement from June of last year to charter three-dimensional (3D) ship capacity from Polarcus.
This extension takes the charter agreement up until the end of 2017 and for up to 10,000 square kilometres (2,916 square nautical miles) of survey work.
