Mads Peter Zacho, the new chief executive of J Lauritzen, is embracing the challenge of leading one of Denmark’s best-known shipowning companies at a difficult time for the industry at large.
Zacho has swapped his role as chief financial officer at neighbouring products tanker specialist Torm to take over at a company that last posted a profit in 2010 and lost over $300m in 2015.
