The Bergen-based mutual has chosen Lime Street — at the heart of the London insurance market — for its first office outside Norway.
The new branch has full underwriting authority and will be involved in claims adjusting, with the premises having capacity to house quite a few more staff than the four strong start-up team.
The London staff, who include office director Ole Wikborg and underwriter Andrew Hannay, will be augmented by regular visitors from the club’s Norwegian offices and there may be loss-prevention events held in the premises.
