A team of six led by Bernt Hellman has joined Thomas Miller Specialty, the underwriting agency set up for the acquisition of the Osprey fixed-premium operation a year ago.
Hellman, 49, is a noted specialist in the offshore market having worked for Subsea 7 before joining Skuld, where he helped launch its Lloyd’s of London venture syndicate 1897. He subsequently led the Dual underwriting agency into the offshore marine and energy market but left three months ago.
