SK Shipping of Korea is locking two of its VLCCs into period charters.
Sources say the 314,000-dwt C Spirit (built 2013) and C Innovator (built 2012) have been fixed to Curzon for two years trading with an option for 12 more months. The rate is believed to be $30,000 per day.
SK Shipping has 18 VLCCs in its fleet of 30 tankers.
