Two shipowners are taking legal action against China’s largest LPG importer Oriental Energy (OE) for defaulting on charter payments and contracts on seven VLGCs.
Industry sources say Shenzhen-listed OE — also known as Donghua Energy — is several months behind on time-charter hire payments to Petredec involving three very large gas carriers (VLGCs), the 84,000-cbm newbuildings Sunstar, Silvio and Sunsovino.
