Speaking at a conference in Oslo on the shift to a green economy, attended by top politicians, energy storage expert Brent Perry highlighted the fact that 90% of the hybrid or electric marine installations in use today originated in Norway, with either the original equipment manufacturers, battery producers or other partners based there.
“Norway is an incredibly small marketplace,” the chief executive of Norwegian-Canadian Plan B Energy Storage (PBES) told the Zero conference’s maritime session.
