Greek owner CM Lemos is believed to have taken another step in the renewal of its tanker fleet with the sale of its oldest suezmax.
Active Indian owners Great Eastern and Seven Islands are both being linked to the purchase of the 150,000-dwt Cosmic (built 2000). Shipbrokers tell TradeWinds a price in the region of $14.4m is being mentioned for what would be the fifth older suezmax to leave the fleet of CM Lemos tanker company Nereus Shipping this year.
