The IHI built, 48,000-dwt bulker Nemtas-2 (built 2005) has been sold to a buyer in Bangladesh for a firm $8m. Nemtas bought the ship as a resale for $35m in November 2004. It marks the fourth bulker Nemtas has sold in six months.
In August, Nemtas sold the 50,000-dwt Nemtas-1 (built 2001) for $4.4m. Two months later, the 45,000-dwt Kariyaka (built 1999) was sold to Al Shumookh Construction for $3.1m.
