Njord Shipping will have a 15% stake in the owning company.

The 35,000-dwt MarCarolina (built 2010) — to be renamed Nordic Skagen — has been bought from an insolvent German limited partnership company for $8.55m. VesselsValue says it is worth $9.43m.

The ship is currently trading spot but is likely to be fixed out for six to nine months. The vessel has operating costs of $4,500 per day.
