TANKERS
The 12,800-dwt products/chemical tanker EA Sirius (built 2009) has been sold to Prime Ship of Vietnam for $11.5m. The STX-built ship is being renamed Prime South.
The 5,700-dwt tanker Mediator (built 2008) has been sold to a Korean buyer for $6.5m. A sales candidate for several years, it was laid up in Greece from 2012 to 2016 before it passed special survey and resumed trading.
