3bn Beatrice wind-farm contract off north-east Scotland.
The Oslo-listed engineering contractor, which already owns half of Seaway in a joint venture with K&S Baltic Offshore, says the offer is open until 1 July. It is also promising a deferred payment of up to $40m, depending on performance targets. Seaway has net assets of $413m and debt of $4m.
Seaway owns two heavylift ships, the 183-metre Stanislav Yudin (built 1985) and 183-metre Oleg Strashnov (built 2011).
