Capesize demolition activity stepped up a gear this week with as many as five ships being sold.
NGM Energy of Greece has sold the 160,000-dwt Natty and Tango (both built 1997) to Bangladesh for $347 per ldt, or $6.9m each.
They were bought from German owner F Laeisz. The Natty was purchased as Chrisimir for $13.5m in September 2013 and the Tango as Matilde in October 2012 for $12.1m.
