BULKERS
Nisshin Shipping of Japan has sold the Oshima Shipbuilding-constructed, 82,000-dwt bulker Epson Trader 1 (built 2009). Several potential buyers inspected the ship, which went to a Greek buyer for $13.3m after it went into drydock. Last month Nisshin sold the Tsuneishi Shipbuilding-constructed, 82,000-dwt bulker Epson Trader 2 (built 2009) for $12.25m.
A 63,000-dwt bulker newbuilding due for delivery from Dayang Shipyard this month has been sold for $18.5m.
