Industry sources following Indonesian power provider PLN’s tender for a 15,000-cbm FSRU to supply a dual-fuel power plant at Gorontalo on the island of Sulawesi say the bid process is being scrapped.
It is unclear whether PLN, which is handling the process through one of its subsidiaries, plans to re-tender.
Project rethink
Another source indicates that there has been a rethink of the project and suggests that an onshore solution for the LNG imports is now under discussion.
