Concordia Maritime and Scorpio Tankers have signed leaseback deals this week, following Ardmore Shipping a few days earlier.
Concordia announced on Tuesday that it had sold the 50,000-dwt Stena Important (built 2015) for $36m, with the ship taken back on a nine-year bareboat deal.
Scorpio Tankers revealed the previous day it had freed up almost $30m from the sale and leaseback of three medium-range (MR) tankers, while Ardmore Shipping generated almost $10m from a transaction involving the 47,000-dwt Ardmore Seatrader (built 2002).
