TradeWinds understands that the 165,000-cbm LNG carrier newbuilding, which is being built for Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) against term-charter business with Tokyo Gas Co, has recently returned to Japan Marine United (JMU)’s Tsu shipyard facility for the start of outfitting works.

The vessel has been fitted with four 40,000-cbm SPB tanks at Imabari Shipbuilding’s yard in Saijo and was towed around 50 kilometres across the bay for the work.
