Greek owner Vulcanus Technical Maritime has sold its two 1990s-built bulkers.
Sources say the Hyundai-built, 43,000-dwt Evanthia and Evdoxia (both built 1996) have gone to an undisclosed buyer for a firm $7m en bloc. Demolition value of the 21-year-old ships totals just $5m.
They have not been a very successful investment, as they were purchased from Hyundai Merchant Marine in 2014 for $18m en bloc.
