A Singapore newcomer to shipmanagement and shipowning is looking to build a greenfield port on the east coast of India.
Exsquare Shipping Pte has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Andhra Pradesh provincial government to construct a multi-industrial facility near Kalingapatnam.
The company is looking to spend $500m on facilities including six terminals — four to handle dry cargo and one each for liquid and container cargoes.
