The ink is not yet dry on this year’s renewal of protection-and-indemnity (P&I) cover but already the Aon insurance broking group is predicting a further round of premium reductions in February 2018.
Aon expects the clubs to offer favourable renewal terms next year, on the basis that the current benign claims climate will continue and the “seemingly endless amount of global insurance capacity” will not diminish.
