Scorpio has extended the charter of the 105,000-dwt Densa Alligator (built 2013) for six months at $14,000 per day, with an option for six more months at $15,000 per day. Over the past year, Scorpio paid $21,500 per day for the tanker.
Shell has fixed the Japanese-controlled, 75,000-dwt Eternal Diligence (built 2006) for one year at $12,000 per day.
In the MR segment, Hpel has taken the 47,000-dwt Prem Mala (built 2000) for up to a year from Mercator for $12,750 per day.
