Two medium-range (MR) tankers previously in the fleet of Dubai-based Blue Lines Shipping (BLS) have switched to the management of Petros Pappas company Product Shipping & Trading (PST).
This suggests that broker reports identifying Oaktree Capital Management, a US private equity giant and a business partner of Pappas, as the ships’ new owner are correct. It also indicates that Blue Lines is about to conclude the planned wind-down of its MR products tanker fleet.
