TradeWinds understands the 1,730-teu SFL Europa (built 2003), which is owned by John Fredriksen’s Ship Finance International (SFL), left Chittagong late on 2 March after a court of appeal panel ruled that the port had no right to detain the vessel.
The boxship is heading for docking and a full inspection in Singapore after being held under guard in Chittagong since mid-September.
