Another two vessels in that category, the 4,800-teu Buffalo Hunter (built 2005) and 5,060-teu Augusta Kontor (built 2004), have been acquired for further trading just months after their sisterships were sent to the breakers.

The Hyundai-built Buffalo Hunter has been sold by Compagnie Maritime Belge (CMB) to Greek buyers for a reported $7.4m.

That is around $1m more than what two sisters, the 4,738-teu Bear Hunter and Bull Hunter (both built 2004), fetched when they were sold to demolition buyers late last year.
