Melton Commercial Trading of the British Virgin Islands has netted a firm price for a midsize LPG carrier that has been sold for demolition.
Some sources say the 27,900-cbm Gas Magic (built 1989), which will be scrapped in India, has fetched as much as $400 per ldt. But TradeWinds believes the price is $385 per ldt, or $3.9m, including 700 tons of bunkers.
