US-based tanker broker MJLF & Associates has parted ways with its research analyst in what some see as a budgetary move.
The Stamford firm told the market last week that “Court Smith is no longer employed by MJLF. Any reports or research originating from him are not the work product of MJLF and do not reflect our views”.
Smith declined to comment, but is continuing to produce research for what appears to be his own firm.
