Greek shipping minister Panagiotis Kouroumblis was called on to settle a jurisdictional dispute after an irate businessman turned into an aspiring pugilist.

Three tax auditors from the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (IAPR) were conducting a “tax evasion safari” on the Greek island of Patmos at the time of the attack, according to local media.

The trio had just landed at Patmos port when they were approached by a man who asked if they were tax collectors.
