US-listed Hornbeck Offshore Services (HOS) — already with 59% of its fleet in lay-up and plans to stack more this year — has warned other owners to resist the urge to reactivate vessels.
The US Gulf of Mexico (GoM) is said to have around 250 cold-stacked vessels, out of about 900 cold-stacked globally, which is down from a peak in January.
