Several Greek owners such as Alma Shipmanagement & Trading, Tide Line and GS Maritime, which have moved below the radar in the secondhand market to buy handysize bulkers recently, will be relieved to see values finally increasing.

For several weeks now, secondhand prices have been broadly flat over much of the dry bulk market. However, the lull has been particularly prolonged for handysizes, where values have been stagnating since late March, according to average, three-month trend prices compiled by Clarksons.
