One of the latest ships to report stability problems is Singa Star's 46,635-dwt bulker Padang Hawk (built 1995), which is now named Sentosa Hawk.

Padang Hawk limped into Townsville on 28 July 1999, having sailed from Kouaoua, New Caledonia, some five days before with a full cargo of nickel ore.

During the voyage, the master had to take action to counteract a 15¡ list to port.
