Washington has decided on the team that will take technical control of its first-ever boxships, currently on order at Samsung. In July the company is due to take delivery of the first in a series of five 4,050-teu vessels. The Vancouver-based company has recruited Peter Curtis, former technical director with Columbia Shipmanagement in Cyprus, to head up the new Seaspan Shipmanagement.
