Macau gambling king Stanley Ho could be raising the stakes in the highly competitive Hong Kong casino-cruise trades by bringing in what is by far the most luxurious ship ever to enter the sector.
The Asian cruise industry was abuzz with rumours this week that Ho is in the process of buying the 350-passenger Radisson Diamond (built 1992). Sources say he has inspected the ship twice and is poised to sign a deal with its owners, the Finnish Guarantee Board (FGB).
