Norwegian fertilizer producer Yara is expected to be paying between $600,000 and $625,000 each per month on the long-term charter of two new medium-size gas carriers from K Line of Japan.
No financial details on the newbuilding and charter contracts have been disclosed but broking sources say the charters run for 10 to 15 years and that K Line ordered the vessels for around $52m.
