The great and the good of the US shipping scene were out in force this week for the annual Connecticut Maritime Association conference.
Stamford tanker brokerage Mallory Jones Lynch&Flynn (MJLF) hosted a dinner that drew General Maritime's Peter Georgiopoulos, who is CMA's 2004 Commodore, along with his father, brother and sister. Also there were the heads of three of the area's largest tanker brokerages Poten's Mike Tusiani, Charles R Weber's Basil Mavroleon and all the MJLF senior partners.
