The July sale of the 207,000-dwt bulker Corossol (built 1989) may become yet another victim of the dry-market doldrums.
The vessel, managed by George Economou's Cardiff Marine, was sold in early July to an unidentified Chinese buyer for a firm $85m with delivery this month.
But the buyer is now said to be unwilling to take delivery of the ship, although it is understood that negotiations between the two sides may still be in progress.
