Nordic Maritime has secured a contract to perform a seismic survey off the coast of Malaysia.
Singapore-based Nordic says the Nordic Energy (built 1984) will carry out the two-dimensional (2D) data retrieval for Malaysian energy giant Petronas.
Nordic’s 1,200-hp standby vessel Viking Vanguard (built 1972) and the 4,341-hp crew boat Nordic Grace (built 2010) have been picked to join the operation, which is set to wrap up next month.
