Celebrity Cruises is spending a massive $55m on a makeover of its 1995-built Century .
The 77,700-gt ship will undergo a five-week drydocking next spring in Europe. It will be the most extensive refurbishment ever to be done on a Celebrity vessel.
A yard has still to be selected to handle the work, which will add 314 new verandas to the ship, built originally at Meyer Werft in Germany.
