A GBP 6m (USD 9.84m) vessel refit contract is set to create more than
400 jobs at UK shiprepair and conversion specialist A&P Tyne.
The yard says it expects to begin recruiting heavily prior to the
arrival on January 4 of the Ministry of Defence Royal Fleet Auxiliary
(RFA) ship Fort Austin.
Work on the 8,300-dwt dry cargo replenishment at sea vessel will last
