Veteran shipping analyst Urs Dur has quickly rebounded from a job cut at his former company by joining fast-growing Clarksons Capital Markets as an equities researcher.
Clarksons said this week that Dur will work alongside current equity analyst Michael Pak to expand the firm’s global coverage of shipping stocks.
It is understood that Dur will sit in New York and eventually take on greater coverage of US listings, while Pak remains in Houston and will branch out into listed owners in Europe and Asia.
