Shipping loves seeking opportunity in adversity, so it was positive to see respected US equity analyst Natasha Boyden bounce back this week.
After her surprise exit as investment bank Cantor Fitzgerald shut its shipping franchise, Boyden quickly returned with New Orleans-based Global Hunter Securities, alongside former Cantor staffer Noah Parquette.
They are not the only victims of the short-term thinking often seen on Wall Street and in other financial markets.
