The chief of the Norwegian broker says more expansion is afoot, with the first step being a boost of 200 in staff levels.
Peter Anker is today celebrating 25 years at the helm of Oslo-based RS Platou, which, under his stewardship, has become one of the world’s leading brokers.
When he took over in 1987, as a result of a management buyout, the company had a staff of 40 but now it has 10 times as many in its ranks — and he plans to increase it further by hiring 200 more over the next couple of years.
