The BW group conducted extensive checks on the identity of the buyer of two VLCCs to ensure that the new owner would not employ them on trading or storing Iranian crude oil.
The 280,000-dwt BW Ubud and Ural (both built 2000) were last week sold to an unnamed investor who will put them under the technical management of Greece’s Libra Shipping.
