An oil major, possibly Shell or Chevron, appears to be behind the one-year charters of the 156,000-dwt tankers Princimar Joy and Princimar Strength (both built 2010).

The ships are said to have been fixed at $16,000 per day each with a profit split on excess earnings. They are owned by Principal Maritime, which has had all its nine suezmax tankers in the Stena Sonangol pool.
