A founding shareholder of US owner Saltchuk Resources has renewed a bid to temporarily extract himself from several federal price-fixing lawsuits against the company while he faces a criminal investigation.
Lawyers for Leonard Shapiro, a founding principal of both Saltchuk and liner subsidiary Totem Ocean Trailer Express (TOTE), have sought a hold on civil claims against him because he “is an identified target of a pending criminal investigation”.
