Scorpio Group of Monaco is about to come away a winner from the bankruptcy liquidation of the Omega Navigation fleet, sources told TradeWinds this week.
Scorpio has landed a contract to commercially manage all eight products tankers that once were fully owned by Omega, but then turned over to lenders led by HSH Nordbank of Germany. The award follows a tender process carried out by the bank.
