New York shipowner Peter Georgiopoulos is back doing the rounds of investor presentations after a long spell on the sidelines as business for his original public company, General Maritime Corp (Genmar), began to unravel.
Georgiopoulos has made appearances in the past two months on behalf of his youngest public listing — dry-bulk owner Baltic Trading — during informal sessions around New York, according to sources familiar with the meetings.
