Expansive International Shipholding Corp (ISC) plans to give its newest Jones Act shipping subsidiary a fresh identity.

Dry-bulk shipowner United Ocean Services (UOS), purchased late last year, is set to become Coastal Carriers, ISC president Erik Johnsen told analysts during an earnings briefing.

New York-listed ISC picked up UOS for $111m in a deal that made it the largest dry-bulk owner in America’s protected oceangoing cabotage trade.
